During the races, bus operations in different regions are severely restricted. The circuits and times vary on each race day and thus also the impact on public transport. The affected lines are rerouted, run on shortened routes or are suspended. Replacement buses run on certain days. The S-Bahn and the Forchbahn run as usual. The Forchbahn runs at 15' intervals at certain times. 

To plan your trip, we recommend that you consult the online timetable at zvv.ch or in the ZVV app shortly beforehand. The online timetable will be definitively adjusted no later than six weeks before the start of the World Cycling Championships. 

In principle, bus operations in the affected regions are restricted on each race day between 6 am and approx. 7 pm. Before and after, lines run on their usual route.

Oberes Glatttal: Bus service from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The buses on the dashed lines only run on Saturday, September 21st and not on Sunday, September 22nd.

• Due to the Greifenseelauf, line 842 will be cancelled between Uster, Zentralstrasse and Uster, Im Hölzli from 07:00 to 18:00. Line 842 will only run between Uster and Mönchaltorf, Langenmatt and between Mönchaltorf, Huebstock and Esslingen, Bahnhof from 13.30 to 16.30. The Mönchaltorf, Mönchhof and Mönchaltorf, Traube stops will not be served. The same applies to the stops between Esslingen, Bahnhof and Oetwil am See, Zentrum.
• Line 845 will be diverted and the stops Gossau ZH, Mitteldorf and Gossau ZH, Zentrum will not be served. The replacement stop Mitteldorf is located on Bertschikerstrasse and route 862 will be diverted between Gossau ZH, Mitteldorf and Gossau ZH, Ernst-Brugger-Platz. • Line 862 will be diverted between Gossau ZH, Mitteldorf and Gossau ZH, Ernst-Brugger-Platz. The Gossau ZH, Zentrum and Gossau ZH, Unterhofen stops will not be served. In the direction of Wetzikon, the stops Grüt, Lindenhof, Wetzikon, Alpenblick and Wetzikon, Bahnhof Süd will not be served. The replacement stop for Grüt, Lindenhof and Wetzikon, Bahnhof Süd is located on Morgenstrasse.
• Line 867 will be diverted between Grüt, Dorf and Gossau ZH, Ernst-Brugger-Platz. The stops Gossau ZH, Tannenberg, Gossau ZH, Mitteldorf and Gossau ZH, Zentrum will not be served. The Tannenberg replacement stop is located on Berghofstrasse (Gossau ZH, Moos stop on route 862). In the direction of Grüningen, the Tannenberg replacement stop is located at the forest cemetery. In the direction of Wetzikon, the stops Grüt, Lindenhof Wetzikon, Alpenblick and Wetzikon, Bahnhof Süd will not be served. • Line 921 is cancelled from 12.30 to 13.40 between Meilen, Bahnhof and Feldmeilen, Plätzli. The Meilen, Parkresidenz stop will not be served. From 13.40 to 16.50, route 921 is cancelled between Meilen, Bahnhof and Feldmeilen, Schulhaus Feld. The Parkresidenz, Plätzli and Schwabach stops will not be served. For the direct connection, please use the S6 from Meilen or Herrliberg-Feldmeilen.
• Line 922 is cancelled from 13.00 to 17.00 between Meilen, Hohenegg and Meilen, Vorderer Pfannenstiel. The stops Meilen, Bezibüel/Chilchbüel, Bundi, Roren and Vorderer Pfannenstiel will not be served at the corresponding times.
• Line 923 is cancelled from 13:00 to 17:00 between Meilen, Aebleten and Meilen, In der Au. The stops Meilen, Grüt and In der Au are not served at the corresponding times.
• Line 931 is cancelled from 14.00 to 17.00 between Uetikon, Rundi and Uetikon, Bergheim. The Uetikon Brandrain and Bergheim stops will not be served at the corresponding times.

Oberes Glatttal: Basic offer

• Line 813 will be diverted between Uster, Bahnhof and Uster, Burgreben. The Stadtpark and Apothekerstrasse stops will not be served. The Apothekerstrasse stop will be moved to Zentralstrasse. The Nossikon stop will also be relocated.
• Additional diversions during race times: Line 813 will be diverted between Uster, Bahnhof and Burgstrasse from 12.00 to 14.30. The Stadtpark, Apothekerstrasse and Burgreben stops will not be served. The Nossikon stop will be relocated.
• Line 816 will be suspended from 12.00 and 14.30. Between 5.00 and 12.00 and between 14.15 and 16.15, buses will be diverted between Uster, Bahnhof and Uster, Wil. The stops Jugendhaus and Bildungszentrum will not be served.
• Line 817 will be cancelled from 11.45 am to 2.15 pm. It will run as normal outside the closure times.
• Line 842 will be cancelled from 12.00 to 14.15 between Uster, Bahnhof and Mönchaltorf, Langenmatt and will only run between Mönchaltorf, Langenmatt and Oetwil am See, Zentrum. The Mönchaltorf, Langenmatt stop will be moved.
